Meet The Team > Mariam Ahmed MChD BChD (Leeds) 2020

I completed the combined masters and bachelor dental degree from the University of Leeds in 2020 with a distinction, after completing my dental foundation training in the Yorkshire dales in 2021, I returned to Lancashire and joined our Sharoe Green Dental Practice in 2024.

As someone who always wants to push myself and develop my skills and learning, I am currently undertaking a level 7 PG in Dental Implantology at the renowned ICE dental hospital with the University of Salford.

I am excited to have completed various courses including Invisalign go and injection moulding composite bonding.

I am passionate about supporting patients to achieve their dream smile and am a Bioclear Certified Practitioner. This means I am able to close black triangles between anterior teeth and re shape peg lateral teeth (congenitally narrow lateral teeth). This process can help overall appearance and improve oral health. Results so far have been fantastic and I am excited to offer this to more patients at Sharoe Green.

One of my strengths as a dentist and something I am fortunate to be receiving some great feedback in- is the treatment of anxious patients and children. Providing a excellent level of care to reassure the patient in a calm, supportive environment, ensures we build a strong relationship so the patient trusts me during treatment and increases the probability of them returning for future care.

In my spare time I enjoy family time, the outdoors and keeping active.

Book An Appointment

You can call our team on 01772 718753 to make appointments, change appointments or arrange support with finance and membership.

Alternatively, patients can book appointments online using our online booking portal.

A Warm Welcome

Our team will welcome you to Sharoe Green and will provide you will all the information you need prior to your visit.

You will also be able to complete your patient record, medical history and other forms via a patient portal sent to your email.

Completing this at home ensures it is all up to date prior to your visit.

New Patient Consultation

At your new patient consultation, your clinician will listen to your concerns and assess your oral health.

If required dental x-rays will be taken and you may have a dental scan and further dental photos.

Our modern technology allows our team to share your images and x-rays onto a large screen TV so that you are informed at every step when it comes to your treatment.

Your Tailored Treatment Plan

Your clinician will create your treatment plan specific to your requirements. This may include multiple options so that you can make an informed decision.

Our reception team can then support you with finance arrangements if required and book any relevant appointments.

If no further treatment is required we can book routine appointments and support with membership sign ups.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! We can welcome new, private patients to Sharoe Green, including children. As a private practice we do not offer a NHS service.

How quickly can you see me?

We pride ourselves in getting new patients seen quickly. Emergency slots are scheduled into the diary and no new or existing patient should find themselves waiting too long to be seen.

I've got a dental emergency, what should I do?

During normal hours call the practice to gain advice or book an appointment. Outside of working hours, follow the instructions on our voicemail. If urgent don't hesitate to call urgent care.
