Meet the team

I am the practice Dental Therapist, and I joined the team in 2008. My job is extremely rewarding and in 2018 I received a Highly Commended Certificate at the National Dental Awards for my role as a Dental Therapist. I graduated from Liverpool University with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene & Therapy. Here at Sharoe Green, I provide both dental hygiene and dental therapy services to our patients. As a Dental Therapist, I am qualified to do a variety of treatments including fillings, radiographs, impressions, extraction of deciduous teeth, tooth whitening, oral hygiene, periodontal treatments and stain removal.

I really enjoy periodontal treatment and during my time at Sharoe Green I have worked closely with patients to motivate them in the care of their teeth and gums and have achieved some great results, this I find really rewarding. I work with patients to implement a home care regime that helps them with thorough plaque control, and I am a keen motivator. I also use an intense polishing system called Air Abrasion, which is fabulous for stain removal. I provide teeth whitening treatments - Philips Zoom in-surgery power whitening and also the home whitening professional kit - both achieving great results.

As well as in surgery treatments I also work closely with local schools/Rainbow/Brownie Groups in providing Oral Health Education to children.

I enjoy keeping up-to-date, attending courses on a regular basis, and I also provide in-house training on medical emergencies to our dental team. Recently, I have attended the Invisalign course to assist our Principal Dentist with Invisalign treatments, and I have had the treatment myself. Outside of the practice I have 2 children and we love spending time in the outdoors, walking and cycling.
